"This painting is of housing in Cinque Terre, Italy. Many brightly colored buildings are placed close together and haphazardly along the coastline. My challenge was to capture the colors of the courtyard as well as it's cozy atmosphere. I chose to paint architecture on a bigger canvas giving the viewer a feeling of being there." -Cherie
